After Anne Heche was killed in a catastrophic vehicle accident, her sons are confident that their mother would have approved of the location that they selected to inter her remains.

Homer Laffoon, 20, provided Page Six with a statement in which he explained the rationale for his and his brother Atlas Tupper’s decision to inter Heche’s remains at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Atlas Tupper is 13 years old.

According to the statement, both my brother Atlas and I would want to express our gratitude to Tyler, Noelle, and all of the wonderful people who work at Hollywood Forever for their acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity of spirit.

“We are certain that our mother will adore the location that we have selected for her since it is lovely, peaceful, and she will be among her Hollywood contemporaries there.”

The statement went on to say that the primary reason they choose Hollywood Forever was because it is “a living location,” meaning that people go there to watch movies, attend concerts, and participate in other activities.
“She was our Mom, but the love and the outpouring of the past three days reminded us that she also belonged to her fans, to the entertainment community, and now, to the ages,” Laffon, who is Heche’s oldest son, continued in the statement.

Heche co-parented Atlas with her ex-boyfriend and “Men in Trees” co-star James Tupper. Heche had Laffon with her ex-husband Coleman “Coley” Laffoon, and they split parenting responsibilities for Atlas.
Judy Garland, Rudolph Valentino, Mickey Rooney, Valerie Harper, Anton Yelchin, and Chris Cornell are among the notable individuals who are laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which was established in 1899. Other notable individuals who are interred there include Chris Cornell. In addition to that, it frequently plays host to a variety of cultural events, such as concerts and cinema screenings outdoors.

In the early part of this month, the star of “Six Days, Seven Nights” crashed her Mini Cooper into a house in Los Angeles.

The actress, who was notably romantically involved with Ellen DeGeneres in the 1990s, had life-threatening injuries, including a brain injury caused by a lack of oxygen and severe burns. She fell into a coma, and she did not wake up from it again in her life.

On August 12, it was determined that Heche had brain death; nonetheless, she was kept on life support in order to give potential organ donors more time. Her representative has issued a statement expressing their sorrow over Heche’s loss.
