Amber Heard’s Yucca Valley property sold for $1M.

Amber Heard

Amber Heard has completed the sale of her California home. According to information obtained by ET, the 36-year-old actress sold her Yucca Valley home for $1,050,000 on July 18.

The approximately 2,500-square-foot home in the Mojave Desert, according to Dirt, has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and sits on more than six acres of land. Another claim from the outlet claims that Heard nearly doubled the money she made from the sale of the property, which she bought in 2015 for $570,000.

Heard announced the sale of one of her properties a month after her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, won his defamation suit against her. The jury determined that Heard should pay Depp $15 million in total, $10 million in compensatory damages, and the remaining $5 million in punitive damages. However, in accordance with Virginia’s statutory cap, Judge Penney Azcarate reduced Depp’s punitive damages to $350,000, resulting in a lower award for Depp.

Heard has decided to take the matter further by filing an appeal. She was successful in pursuing one of her three counterclaims, and the jury awarded her compensatory damages of $2 million. In response to Heard’s victory in the counterclaim, Depp has filed an appeal.
Heard filed a motion with the court, requesting that the case be declared a mistrial on the grounds that the wrong person had sat on the jury. Her request was turned down.

6,000 pages of pre-trial court documents were recently unsealed, revealing claims that Depp’s team attempted to submit nude photos of Heard as evidence, that Heard’s team attempted to suggest that Depp was taking erectile dysfunction medication and that there were allegedly damning texts that were not allowed to be submitted for the trial. The documents also revealed that Depp’s team attempted to imply that Heard was taking erectile dysfunction medication.
