After almost 50 years of experience, singer-songwriter Ana Gabriel managed to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a ceremony that took place on November 3.
Over the years, Gabriel became one of the most recognized stars in Latin music, the holder of a wide variety of awards within the industry, such as the Billboard, Latin Grammy, and Premios Lo Nuestro awards.
However, a star in Hollywood was always his goal, one that he promised his parents that he would achieve. It was a message that Gabriel made clear with emotion during the induction.
[I promised you that] one day my name and my star will be here. Today, that promise I made to my parents is coming true.
