Ana Villafañe and Bianca Marroquin will lead the cast in the return of “Chicago” on Broadway at the Ambassador Theater on September 14.
The play originally opened in 1996 and is now the second longest-running show on
Broadway, after “The Phantom of the Opera,” a cause for celebration in addition to Broadway’s long-awaited reopening after its long silence.
Marroquin starred in “Chicago” before the pandemic, Villafañe was the star of the play “On Your Feet!”, And the two are excited and ready to return to the stage, the art form that gave them their big break.
