A search and rescue team that recently joined the hunt for missing 16-year-old Kiely Rodni said that they discovered a car and human remains in a lake on Sunday afternoon near the campground where Rodni went missing approximately two weeks ago. The team said they found the car near where Rodney had been staying before she went missing.
The prominent YouTube channel Adventures with Purpose, which assists in the search for missing persons, asserted that they discovered her automobile inverted in water that was 14 feet deep, with her still inside of it.
According to a spokeswoman for the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, they are currently attempting to validate the reports. Their dive team is already en route to the lake to investigate.

In the early morning hours of August 6, Rodney disappeared from a gathering that was taking place at a campground in Truckee, California.
Rodin was last seen around 12:30 a.m. on August 6 at a party that began the night before on August 5 and was held at the Prosser Family Campground in the Tahoe National Forest. The authorities searched the wooded areas near the Prosser Family Campground in the Tahoe National Forest, which the locals call “The Campground.”
On August 11, the authorities started collecting evidence from the camping area and placing it in bags.

A large number of people were present at the party that Rodney went to at the campground on the weekend of August 6 before she went missing. Drugs and alcohol were also present at the gathering.
The authorities are approaching their inquiry as if it were an abduction since they believe she may have been taken by force. Following her abduction, the administration of Placer County activated the CodeRed Alert System, which is responsible for sending notifications to the approximately 100,000 people who live in Placer County.
In addition, Rodin’s vehicle, a silver Honda CRV that she drove to the party, was nowhere to be found when she checked on it on the morning of August 6 at the campground.
According to the police, she had her last conversation with friends and family shortly after midnight on August 6, and she shut off her phone at approximately 12:33 a.m.
