On July 31, an alumna of The Bachelor and her fiance, Grant Michael Troutt, were engaged after a proposal on the beach. Grant is seen on the beach, surrounded by white candles, dropping down on one knee while wearing a blue suit in photographs posted to Instagram to commemorate the momentous occasion.
Madison, who wore a white gown for the occasion, captioned the photo she posted on August 1 with the phrase “You were worth the wait.”
According to Us Weekly, Madison made her relationship with Grant, a former UC Santa Barbara basketball player and the son of Excel Communications founder Kenny Troutt, public on Instagram in May. Grant is also a former NBA player, according to reports. At the time, she was introducing her followers to “the realist G in town.”
“Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion, purpose, and pleasure, I am proud I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do,” she wrote on May 5. “I am proud that I get to spend my life with someone who loves Jesus and people as much as you do,” she said.
