Mary-Mara-Dies

Mary Mara, an actress best known for her work on “ER” and “Ray Donavan,” has passed away, according to a statement from her manager, Craig Dorfman, to CNN. She was 61.

Mary was one of the best actors I’ve ever encountered, according to Dorfman. “I still recall witnessing her perform in 1992’s off-Broadway production of “Mad Forest.” She was energizing, humorous, and truly unique. She was adored by all. We will miss her.”

According to a press release from the New York State Police, officers responded to a complaint of a “possible drowning” on Sunday at about 8:10 a.m. local time. As soon as they arrived, troopers and Cape Vincent Fire and Ambulance “found a female deceased in the St. Lawrence River,” according to the report.
According to authorities, “the early investigation reveals the person drowned while swimming.”

No evidence of wrongdoing was present, the police said in their statement. According to authorities, an autopsy will be conducted by the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office to ascertain the cause of death.
Mara had a long record of acting appearances in both movies and television, including multi-episode parts on series including “Star Trek: Enterprise,” “The Practice,” and “Dexter.” Most people probably knew her from her appearances on “Nash Bridges,” “ER,” and “Ray Donovan.”

The movies “Mr. Saturday Night” and “Love Potion #9” were among Mara’s credits. Her most recent work was on the movie “Break Even” from 2020.
