The Ultra Festival announces its return to Miami lineup in March 2022

Miami lineup in March 2022

The electronic music festival Ultra announced its preliminary poster for the twenty-second edition, which will take place from March 25 to 27, 2022 after two years of suspension due to the covid-19 pandemic and which includes stars such as David Guetta, DJ Snake, Alesso, and Nina Kraviz.

It will also be the return of the Ultra Music Festival to the amphitheater of Bayfront Park, a park in downtown Miami that has been the “iconic” setting of the massive event for many years.

Also part of this “Phase 1” of artists Alison Wonderland, Martin Garrix, Kygo, Amelie Lens, Illenium, Oliver Heldens, Timmy Trumpet, and Knife Party.

Other guests are Pendulum, Madeon, and also English producer and DJ Gareth Emery, who will present the world debut of his new album and live show.

After his performance at Ultra 2019, the last edition before the pandemic and which was held on one of the islands in the Bay of Biscay, the American composer and electronic music DJ SVDDEN DEATH will make his return to the festival with an innovative audiovisual presentation.

In addition to Boris Brejcha, Ultra will also welcome Belgian Amelie Lens, techno queen Nina Kraviz, Oliver Tree, and Grammy Award nominee FISHER for the first time.

The Ultra organization noted that the return to Bayfront Park was achieved after “a historic agreement” with the community association Alianza de Vecinos del Centro de la Ciudad through which “a shared vision of sustainable coexistence will be fostered.”

In 2019, the festival was held for the first time outside of Miami to avoid protests by residents of downtown Miami over noise, among other problems.

Started on the beaches of Miami Beach in 1999, when it only consisted of one date, since then the Ultra Music Festival certifies every year that it is a growing event and has won several awards.

A must for lovers of house, techno, or dubstep, the Ultra festival brings together thousands of people from all over the world every year.
