Puerto Rican salsa singer Víctor Manuelle will headline the sixth edition of “Walk for your hero” on September 26 , the traditional event for the benefit of Alzheimer’s patients on the island, it was reported this Wednesday.
“You know my commitment to all Alzheimer’s caregivers, relatives and patients,” the artist, whose father suffered from this disease for more than a decade until his death, said in a press release.
To monitor the health and safety of all participants, this edition will be held “self-service” from 10:00 am and will be broadcast simultaneously through the portal www.facebook.com/victormanuelleonline.
Attendees, in turn, will enjoy musical entertainment from the moment they arrive at the old Normandie Hotel at the entrance of the Old San Juan islet.
Upon entering Calle San Agustín, they will be able to greet Víctor Manuelle from their vehicles in order to maintain physical distance.
The first 500 vehicles to arrive will receive educational material, hygiene items and personal care, among other things.
