After the floods caused by Hurricane Ida in New York City, which caused the deaths of 13 people and considerable economic losses, the federal government, the city and the state of New York, offer a series of resources that the affected people could receive.

New York City authorities reported that aid service centers have opened in all 5 counties to provide resources to New Yorkers affected by the weather emergency, regardless of their immigration status.
