Buccaneers Rule Out Brown After Being Accused Of Using Fake Covid-19 Card

Antonio-Brown

Longtime Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown, charged this week with obtaining a fake COVID-19 vaccination card, has been ruled out for Monday night’s game against the New York Giants.

This was reported by his head coach Bruce Arians.

Brown hasn’t played since he suffered an ankle injury in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but although his injury has been fading, he did not practice this week.

Earlier this week, Steven Ruiz, Brown’s former cook, who was also serving as a personal assistant, accused the veteran wide receiver of obtaining a fake COVID-19 vaccine card and said Brown had obtained it from a teammate of the Buccaneers.

Brown’s attorney has denied the accusation.

While Arians said on Friday that the team did its due diligence in examining the players’ vaccination cards and that the league will also conduct an investigation.
