Max Homa takes the Fortinet Championship on the PGA Tour.

PGA Tour: Max Homa wins the Fortinet Championship

At the Fortinet Championship, held in California, the American athlete, who is now 31 years old, successfully defended his championship.

Max Homa, an American, won the Fortinet Championship, which counts for the USPGA, for the second year in a row on Sunday. Homa took the lead over Danny Willett, a British player, on the final hole, but Willett faltered and lost the tournament.

Homa finished with a score of -4 on the course at the Silverado Resort in Napa, California, for a total of -16 (272) after four rounds. This left Homa one shot ahead of Willett, who missed an easy one-yard putt at the 18th hole, causing him to lose the competition.

Max Homa was pleased with his performance even though the game’s conclusion was “a little bit of a bizarre ending.”

After winning the Masters in 2016 and two tournaments on the DP World Tour, Danny Willett is still waiting for his first victory on the American circuit (USPGA).

On the other hand, it appeared as though he was going to win the tournament on Sunday on the 18th when his third shot placed him less than 1.5 meters from the flag and Max Homa ended himself in a bunker.
