The beginning of the 2000s is the primary source of inspiration. However, the thing that stands out the most to me is a garment that has been expertly tailored. It doesn’t matter how straightforward it is; the outcome will be insane. Domenico came to my place in Calabasas (in California) in 2019 to get dressed for a concert that Celine Dion was performing. My first encounter with a bespoke item from Dolce & Gabbana was this. This look, which managed to be both straightforward and intricate all at the same time, was tremendously flattering to my figure. Glamour is something I’ve always been drawn to, and it seems to be at the core of their fashion. When I look at Domenico and Stefano’s photos and their archives, including the hair and makeup, they have never deviated from the concept of traditional, Italian beauty. I adore the fact that numerous personalities may be shown through my choice of clothing. One day I can be like a kind of futuristic Barbie, and the next day I can be like a sensual and fierce Sicilian mama.
