New York City FC Honored At The Mayor’s Office
Managers, players, and other staff members of New York City FC were deservedly honored and congratulated by the Mayor of the City of NY, Bill de Blasio.
The historical event carried out on the steps of the New York City Hall, which began with the National Anthem of the United States interpreted by the Official of the Fire Department, Regina Wilson.
Immediately afterward, the Master of Ceremonies greeted all those present and introduced all the members of NYC FC, the last to go out to the public the captain and goalkeeper hero, Sean Johnson, wearing the MLS Cup 2021, who came out accompanied by the Mayor of Bill de Blasio.
Then the president and CEO of the NYCFC, Brad Simmons, who, in addition to congratulating the entire group of team members, also thanked the honorable president of the United States, Joe Biden, for his effusive congratulations to The Boys in Blue. for having won the MLS Cup 2021.
He also thanked Kathy Hochul, Governor of NY, for her unconditional support of the team. He also spoke of the two goals to be achieved. The first is to win trophies and the other is to build the stadium.
They were followed by DT Ronny Deila, Sporting Director, David Lee, the hero and captain, Sean Johnson, and the winner of the Golden Boot, Valentin Taty Castellanos.
Finally, the mayor of NY, Bill de Blasio, proceeded with the delivery of recognitions to all the players.
